Presentación de libro - Materia Americana
Editado por Gabriela Siracusano y Agustina Rodríguez Romero, la obra Materia Americana. El cuerpo de las imágenes hispanoamericanas (siglos XVI a mediados del XIX) reúne las investigaciones de destacados historiadores del arte, químicos, físicos, conservadores y museólogos sobre la dimensión material del arte colonial americano. Se trata de un libro pionero en el ámbito latinoamericano, publicado por EDUNTREF con el apoyo de la Getty Foundation.
Expositoras: Dra. Silvia Centeno (Metropolitan Museum of Art, Nueva York) y Dra. Ilona Katzew (Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Ángeles).

The body of Spanish American images (16th to mid-19th centuries) brings together the research of leading art historians, chemists, physicists, conservators and museologists concerned with the materiality of Spanish American art. It is a pioneering book in Latin America, published by EDUNTREF with the support of the Getty Foundation.
