• During her residence at the MUNTREF Centro de Arte y Naturaleza, Rita Fischer collects in the vicinity of the building the organic and inorganic elements that make up the excessive diorama of nature housed in the room. From the spatial characteristics, the artist constructs an interior landscape in dialogue with the architecture: the light filters through the glazed skylight and becomes plastic material, profiling the components of the installation.

Interior and exterior merge into a three-dimensional pictorial construction: what is usually observed on the flat surface is detached in depth, generating translucencies and superimpositions that conceal and at the same time reveal the elements of the composition. The layers propose a story in the making, an intricate skein whose structure unfolds as it is traversed by the visitor. As after a sudden burst, the forms remain floating weightless, suspended between the floor and the ceiling as disembodied remains of a mystical space.
