Holidays in the Museum

Free activity guide for children between 5 and 10 years old at the MUNTREF Museum of Visual Arts.

The program Holidays in the Museum consists of a proposal of Art Workshops for children in which different artistic languages such as music, theatre, movement and literature are combined and integrated, taking, as its center, the visual arts. In each of the workshops a different thematic axis is taken and different materials, techniques and tools are explored. Huge cities inhabited by miniature characters are built, works with movement splashed with paint are designed, strange places full of stories are invented with brushes and rollers… The children take home all the productions made in each of the workshops.

The free workshops will take place on the following dates:

Wednesday 19 and 26 16:30 to 18:00 hs.

Friday 21 and 28 from 16:30 to 18:00 hs.

Registration is required at muntrefeducacion@untref.edu.ar

A world in colour and in black and white

A proposal for children to make them observe and produce art pieces with the opposites concept as a starting point.

The children will participate in a playful activity linked to different slogans in which observation, interpretation and imagination are put into play. Then, they will make a production in which the opposites will be explored: black and white / color, empty and full, movement and stillness, different supports, materials and techniques, among others. Once the workshop is over, they will take the work home.

Round and more round… circling in rounds

A workshop to play and learn about the optical art. We will create installations with many circles.

Once finished, each artist will take his or her production with him or her so that it continues to grow through new experiments.
